TERMS OF SERVICE
Terms of service
These terms describe the agreement between you and MacDeer / BearNext for the website, accounts, digital products, licenses, and support.
1. Seller identity and acceptance
This website and its digital products are provided by MacDeer / BearNext (“MacDeer,” “we,” or the “seller”). MacDeer is the public brand and BearNext is the operating name. By accessing the site, creating an account, or purchasing a product, you acknowledge these terms.
You must have the legal age and capacity to enter a contract where you live. If purchasing for an organization, you confirm that you can bind it.
2. Products and digital delivery
MacDeer sells software-development tools, macOS apps, and related digital bundles. The public pricing page and pre-checkout disclosures control the description, price, platform, contents, and delivery method.
No physical media is shipped. After Paddle confirms the transaction and the MacDeer server verifies the signed notification, download rights are issued to the MacDeer account used for purchase. Buyers must provide accurate information, protect their credentials, and remain responsible for account activity.
3. License and intellectual property
Unless a product page expressly says otherwise, a one-time purchase grants the buyer an ongoing, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable right to use the product. Software, source code, documentation, designs, brands, and related intellectual property remain owned by MacDeer or its licensors.
SDK licenses are granted per developer account. A license is bound to the Apple Team ID supplied by the buyer and covers any number of apps signed and distributed by that account, including apps created later. It cannot be transferred to another developer account.
A one-time purchase includes a 12-month update window. Every SDK version released during that window is covered. Afterward, the last eligible version may be used indefinitely, but later releases require renewal. The license itself does not expire by date.
The SDK may be integrated into and distributed with licensed apps. You may not resell it separately, share it publicly, mirror or rent it, bypass technical restrictions, remove rights notices, or redistribute the product itself in a source package, template, or competing product. Reverse engineering is prohibited except where applicable law expressly permits it and does not allow contractual exclusion.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the site, account, or products for illegal activity, fraud, spam, infringement, abusive scraping, vulnerability probing, circumvention of security measures, malware distribution, service disruption, impersonation, or false payment or identity information.
5. Payments, taxes, and Paddle
Paddle.com Market Limited or the applicable Paddle affiliate processes payments, taxes, invoices or receipts, and some billing support as Merchant of Record. Full card details do not enter the MacDeer database.
The final total, currency, and taxes are shown in Paddle Checkout before confirmation. Payments are also governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Current public products are one-time purchases and do not renew automatically. If memberships or subscriptions are introduced, the cycle, price, renewal, cancellation, and effective date will be disclosed before checkout.
6. Refunds and entitlement removal
Requests are handled under the refund policy. Paddle returns approved refunds to the original payment method. A full refund, chargeback, or confirmed fraudulent transaction may revoke related digital entitlements. Independent entitlements from other valid orders or memberships are not removed.
7. Availability and updates
We reasonably maintain the site, downloads, and account service, but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free operation or suitability for every device and use. We may ship security fixes, compatibility updates, and reasonable feature changes while seeking to preserve the core use rights of purchased products.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account or access for material breach, non-payment, fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious violations. Order, security, and tax records required by law may remain afterward; other data is handled under the privacy policy.
9. Disclaimers and liability limits
Products are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The stock-research app is an organization tool and is not investment, legal, tax, or financial advice.
Where permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. MacDeer’s aggregate liability for a product claim will not exceed the amount you paid for that product. This does not exclude fraud, willful misconduct, personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.
10. Governing law, changes, and contact
These terms are governed by the law of the seller’s principal place of business without affecting non-waivable consumer protection where you live. The parties should first attempt good-faith resolution through written support; mandatory jurisdiction rules still apply.
Material changes update the date on this page and, where reasonable, are communicated to account users. Submit questions through the MacDeer contact page.
