REFUND POLICY

Refund policy

The SDK can be evaluated fully in the simulator without a license, so ordinary refunds end when a license is issued. Refunds remain available before issuance and where law requires them.

1. Evaluate fully before purchase

Swift Markdown Kit runs in the iOS Simulator without a license, with complete functionality and no time limit. Integrate it, render real content, and verify behavior and performance before paying. Request a 30-day device trial license through the support form when needed.

Because evaluation is free, the refund boundary is whether a license has been issued, not whether the buyer is satisfied afterward.

2. Refund rules

No ordinary refund after license issuance

A production license is a signed file bound to your Apple Team ID and verified offline on device. It cannot be recalled or disabled after issuance. Issuing the license therefore completes delivery and ends ordinary refund eligibility.

Before license issuance, a full refund is available for mistaken or duplicate purchases and when we cannot complete delivery.

This policy does not limit statutory withdrawal or cancellation rights under applicable law (including any longer local standard), a refund Paddle grants under its refund policy, or a refund for a material technical defect that we cannot repair within a reasonable period.

3. How to request a refund

  1. Preferably visit Paddle.net, locate the transaction with the purchase email, and submit a refund or billing request;
  2. Or open the Paddle customer portal from your MacDeer account and orders;
  3. If you cannot locate the order, use the MacDeer support form with the purchase email, transaction date, product, and issue. Never send a card number or security code.

4. Review and processing

MacDeer and Paddle, as Merchant of Record, review the transaction, delivery status, explanation, and applicable law. We generally provide an initial response within two business days after receiving complete information. Paddle, the payment method, and bank processing determine approval and arrival times.

We do not require proof of uninstallation or unrelated conditions before accepting a request, or discourage statutory rights. We may request reasonable information to locate an order and take steps against fraud or duplicate refunds.

5. Digital rights after a refund

After a confirmed full refund, chargeback, or reversal, download and use entitlements from that order are revoked. Whether a partial refund affects an entitlement depends on the items Paddle expressly adjusts. Equivalent rights from other valid orders or memberships remain intact.

6. Subscriptions and future memberships

Current public products are one-time purchases. If subscriptions or memberships are introduced, cancellation prevents the next renewal but does not automatically refund a settled period. The renewal cycle, price, cancellation method, and refund terms will be shown before checkout.

7. Contact

Submit policy questions through the MacDeer support form. Payments and refunds are also governed by the Paddle refund policy and applicable consumer-protection law.
